Stamatis Paschalis scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vassilis Sapanis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Dimitris Mertsanidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vassilis Sapanis. Stamatis Paschalis kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Vassilis Sapanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Mertsanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the PAOK FC defense, Makis Chiotis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Sapanis. The PAOK FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Sapanis should have stopped the shot. After 84 minutes, Achilleas Melabianakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PAOK FC and the Trifillia.FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes PAOK FC got a freekick which was hit by Achilleas Melabianakis. Vassilis Sapanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonis Meintanis in the 85th minute of the match. Aris Kravaris's late challenge caught a PAOK FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aris Kravaris helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Trifillia.FC got a freekick which was hit by Aris Kravaris. Vassilis Sapanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamatis Paschalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Vassilis Sapanis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kostas Katsoulakis went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score.
