Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isaac Grimaud started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the CA Boca Jrs defense, Julian Savona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ercole Ceresoli. The CA Boca Jrs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercole Ceresoli should have stopped the shot. When Isaac Grimaud came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sliema Dragons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Grimaud couldn't finish the play. Ercole Ceresoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Savona in the 14th minute of play. Ettore Gelsomini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marcelo Severiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Isaac Grimaud came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sliema Dragons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Grimaud couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Severiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Garofalo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Armando Garofalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Severiano having to make a save. Marcelo Severiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Garofalo in the 43rd minute of play. Ercole Ceresoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Grimaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs's Felice Cino got a free kick in the 48th minute. Isaac Grimaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Ceresoli having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ettore Gelsomini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Comunardo Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Severiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 58th minute, but Marcelo Severiano got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sliema Dragons FC hanging dry this time. CA Boca Jrs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armando Garofalo in the 59th minute. The corner ended in Armando Garofalo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano did a great save. After 65 minutes of play, Sliema Dragons FC's Isaac Grimaud made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ercole Ceresoli was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Leo Scalpello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Scalpello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Ceresoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leo Scalpello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Desira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Isaac Grimaud might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ercole Ceresoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Grimaud ran back to his position shaking his head. Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Garofalo in the 83rd minute of play.
