In the 18th minute Damiano Iezzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Pozzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Alvaro Borel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domenico Sabatino. Sorci Viola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Borel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Domenico Sabatino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvaro Borel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Borel in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Sabatino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute of the match Dexter Morgan VR46 got a corner. Sorci Viola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fortunato Brandolini ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Dexter Morgan VR46's corner Fortunato Brandolini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Domenico Sabatino quite easily take care of the ball. Beppe Pozzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Fasciani, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Borel got free with Domenico Sabatino in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beppe Zoff was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Dexter Morgan VR46's Beppe Pozzo got control of the ball when Beppe Zoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domenico Sabatino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Borel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermanno Lucidi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Anfilogino Chiola took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Pozzo. Beppe Pozzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 59 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Beppe Pozzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damiano Iezzi. Sorci Viola's Domenico Sabatino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Borel in the 62nd minute of play. Domenico Sabatino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Borel's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Beppe Zoff kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beppe Pozzo. That made the score 2-2 in the 69 minute of play. Franco Bobbio struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Domenico Sabatino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dexter Morgan VR46. When Achille Pasquino came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Sorci Viola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Pasquino couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anfilogino Chiola got free with Beppe Pozzo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Alberigo Di Nucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Sabatino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Borel's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Dexter Morgan VR46's Beppe Pozzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Dexter Morgan VR46 from getting a goal against them. Dexter Morgan VR46 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sorci Viola had controlled the match.
