Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathis Boureau in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Eraldo Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Stathis Ipsilantis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stathis Ipsilantis came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Lyon 69ers's Yazid Danton. But to his dismay, Yazid Danton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, Lapokhσri's goal looked a bit too open when Mathis Boureau came free, but Stathis Ipsilantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Jean-Charles Garros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Ipsilantis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stathis Ipsilantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Garrigues in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lapokhσri's Iosif Ntounias got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Adam Paraszczuk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stathis Ipsilantis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis got control of the ball when Robert Garrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Lyon 69ers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lapokhσri.
