Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alexis Kotsanakis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibrahim Rault in the 3rd minute of play. Davy Richardson kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Davy Richardson fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tours Football Club's protests and gave Davy Richardson a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Tours Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Davy Richardson. René Grégori charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed René Grégori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eustratios Vertsotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ibrahim Rault in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ibrahim Rault in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustratios Vertsotis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alexis Kotsanakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eustratios Vertsotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ibrahim Rault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlad Joldea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Kotsanakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jacques Audren hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Giorgos Soufleris from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Vlad Joldea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 28 minutes into the match, Willy Sauvestre notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis. Eustratios Vertsotis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vlad Joldea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Kotsanakis in the 31st minute of the match. Eustratios Vertsotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Sauvestre in the 33rd minute of play. After 39 minutes Tours Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giorgos Soufleris who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Olympiacos FC's corner Dimitris Koudas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vlad Joldea quite easily take care of the ball. Olympiacos FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Tours Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giorgos Soufleris took the corner. The corner led Olympiacos FC's Giorgos Soufleris to fire away a dangerous shot which Vlad Joldea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ibrahim Rault during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tours Football Club getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ibrahim Rault hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Alexis Kotsanakis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vlad Joldea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Olympiacos FC's Giorgos Soufleris shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vlad Joldea but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Soulis Partalis got free with Vlad Joldea in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willy Sauvestre made a kick off. Vlad Joldea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Kotsanakis in the 54th minute of the match. Olympiacos FC's Alexis Kotsanakis managed to work through Tours Football Club's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alexis Kotsanakis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 59 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Sauvestre came free, but Eustratios Vertsotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Soulis Partalis in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlad Joldea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Fotis Nousias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustratios Vertsotis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ibrahim Rault. Willy Sauvestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Eustratios Vertsotis made a huge save. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Willy Sauvestre sped through Olympiacos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Sauvestre during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tours Football Club's Willy Sauvestre got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Tours Football Club's Willy Sauvestre in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Olympiacos FC defense, Joachim Migne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis. The Olympiacos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustratios Vertsotis should have stopped the shot.
