Florian Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Colecchia in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Fiorentino came free, but Michele Di Gregorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Alvise Gerola made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Eurospeed Asti's Michele Di Gregorio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patagonia's zone, Daniele Rugani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Moscatelli came out of the goal and Daniele Rugani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabiano Fiorentino scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michele Di Gregorio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patagonia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniele Rugani who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Eurospeed Asti booed when A.C. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Gerola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michele Di Gregorio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The wind increased when Andrea Trinca made the kick off in the second half. Eurospeed Asti's Michele Di Gregorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moreno Torricelli in the 53rd minute of play. When Alex Ucci fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eurospeed Asti's protests and gave Alex Ucci a yellow card for diving instead. Michele Di Gregorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Fiorentino went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Michele Di Gregorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moreno Torricelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Alfredo Corrente took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michele Di Gregorio. Michele Di Gregorio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 63 minutes into the match, Fabiano Fiorentino notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Eurospeed Asti's Michele Di Gregorio. Michele Di Gregorio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michele Di Gregorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Corrente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Corrente in the 66th minute of play forced Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.C. Patagonia's Florian Moscatelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Fausto Marrone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Colecchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Gatti charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Gatti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute, Federico Gatti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th match minute, Eurospeed Asti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Gatti to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute Angelo Di Livio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michele Di Gregorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eurospeed Asti players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.C. Patagonia.
