After a defensive mix-up in Cats and dogs's zone, Cesare Cesarini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaétan Toullec came out of the goal and Cesare Cesarini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montechiarugolo AFC's Carmine Cattaneo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Da Cunha in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Daniele Cammarota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montechiarugolo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Christophe Montaigne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cats and dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Christophe Montaigne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Cattaneo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christophe Montaigne got free with Carmine Cattaneo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Attilio Cavanna made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cesare Cesarini however managed to control. Carmine Cattaneo was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Christophe Montaigne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christophe Montaigne really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Carmine Cattaneo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kader Miguet's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montechiarugolo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christophe Montaigne was slow to take the kick. During this time Cats and dogs's players had a chance to rest. After 31 played minutes Montechiarugolo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Cesarini. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Cammarota in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Daniele Cammarota sped through Cats and dogs's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaétan Toullec.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 鲁朋响 made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, 鲁朋响 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gaétan Toullec was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 54 minutes into the game, Christophe Montaigne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Carmine Cattaneo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Montechiarugolo AFC's Carmine Cattaneo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kader Miguet in the 60th minute of play. Carmine Cattaneo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cats and dogs's Christophe Montaigne. But to his dismay, Christophe Montaigne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 64th minute, Kader Miguet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 鲁朋响 in the 68th minute of play. Carmine Cattaneo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kader Miguet in the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Kader Miguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Cattaneo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christophe Montaigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmine Cattaneo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Montaigne in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Kader Miguet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Carmine Cattaneo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesare Cesarini kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Kader Miguet struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Carmine Cattaneo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cats and dogs. When Cesare Cesarini fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montechiarugolo AFC's protests and gave Cesare Cesarini a yellow card for diving instead. Cesare Cesarini kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When 鲁朋响 fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montechiarugolo AFC's protests and gave 鲁朋响 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, 鲁朋响 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kader Miguet came free, but Carmine Cattaneo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montechiarugolo AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cats and dogs.
