The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Izar Buendia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Camaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doroteo Marquez got free with Felix Quesada in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zoilo Barrientos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Felix Quesada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Doroteo Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Quesada was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Felix Quesada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoilo Barrientos in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Qàzrix SapinGators's goalkeeper Felix Quesada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Doroteo Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Etxatxu Bastida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoilo Barrientos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Quesada having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Zoilo Barrientos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Doroteo Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hinojar's supporters rose to their feet, but Doroteo Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Quesada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doroteo Marquez was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doroteo Marquez in the 59th minute of play forced Qàzrix SapinGators's goalkeeper Felix Quesada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoilo Barrientos struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Felix Quesada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hinojar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doroteo Marquez in the 62nd minute of play forced Qàzrix SapinGators's goalkeeper Felix Quesada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Doroteo Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Hinojar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doroteo Marquez couldn't finish the play. Gillermo Ucero hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Cugat Dellasierra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Quesada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Qàzrix SapinGators's zone, Doroteo Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Quesada came out of the goal and Doroteo Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zoilo Barrientos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Quesada having to interfere. Felix Quesada came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Hinojar's Zoilo Barrientos. But to his dismay, Zoilo Barrientos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Doroteo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Quesada having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Qàzrix SapinGators's zone, Zoilo Barrientos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Quesada came out of the goal and Zoilo Barrientos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zoilo Barrientos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hinojar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Qàzrix SapinGators for a fine match.
