Mergildo Pascua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mergildo Pascua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Espírito Santo in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Domeka Talavera hit a great ball. David Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Neiva notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tirant lo Blanch's Mergildo Pascua. Mergildo Pascua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Tirant lo Blanch defense, Aristides Espírito Santo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mergildo Pascua. The Tirant lo Blanch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mergildo Pascua should have stopped the shot. Mergildo Pascua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Mergildo Pascua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Espírito Santo in the 29th minute of play. Aristides Espírito Santo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Espírito Santo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Espírito Santo in the 35th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Mergildo Pascua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Solsona hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Espírito Santo came free, but Mergildo Pascua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Flávio Esparteiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mergildo Pascua. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, SLB TELHA's Gonçalo Neiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Mergildo Pascua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Espírito Santo in the 47th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aristides Espírito Santo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mergildo Pascua. That made the score 5-0 in the 48 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mergildo Pascua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Neiva in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Domeka Talavera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tirant lo Blanch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SLB TELHA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Domeka Talavera got a free kick in the 59th minute. Mergildo Pascua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tirant lo Blanch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Aristides Espírito Santo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mergildo Pascua. Mergildo Pascua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 74 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Espírito Santo came free, but Mergildo Pascua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mergildo Pascua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Neiva in the 75th minute of play. Eusébio Mourato charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Mourato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by David Silva. 82 minutes into the match, Aristides Espírito Santo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Tirant lo Blanch's Mergildo Pascua. Mergildo Pascua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Octávio Bettencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mergildo Pascua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Neiva went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Mergildo Pascua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when João Nascimento came free, but Mergildo Pascua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, SLB TELHA's Gonçalo Neiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mergildo Pascua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. SLB TELHA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
