The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Gutierrez got free with Xavi Galaiko in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavi Galaiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Llorian Casals in the 8th minute. The attack was good, but when Teodor Villalcazar in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 14 minutes of play, Los kyes's Llorian Casals made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavi Galaiko was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Teodor Villalcazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Gutierrez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Xavi Galaiko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Severiano Gutierrez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavi Galaiko was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Xavi Galaiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Canturri in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Severiano Gutierrez made a precise shot to the right of Xavi Galaiko. Fillos de Breogán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Claus Madariaga hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Severiano Gutierrez might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavi Galaiko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Gutierrez ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidor Zubizarreta scored 3-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xavi Galaiko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Franco Saavedra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los kyes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Saavedra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tano Gomar to maneuver through the defense. Fillos de Breogán's Xavi Galaiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Villalcazar in the 45th minute of play. Los kyes's Severiano Gutierrez got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Llorian Casals received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Xavi Galaiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavi Galaiko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Gutierrez went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Fillos de Breogán's zone, Isidor Zubizarreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavi Galaiko came out of the goal and Isidor Zubizarreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavi Galaiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Canturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute, Torcuato Carballido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavi Galaiko came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Los kyes's Isidor Zubizarreta. But to his dismay, Isidor Zubizarreta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Los kyes getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Isidor Zubizarreta hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fillos de Breogán's zone, Nacho Canturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavi Galaiko came out of the goal and Nacho Canturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Gutierrez in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavi Galaiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xavi Galaiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidor Zubizarreta in the 85th minute of play. Severiano Gutierrez succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. In the 91st minute Isidor Zubizarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavi Galaiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llorian Casals took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavi Galaiko. Xavi Galaiko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
