In the 8th minute of the game Palmiro Ramires made a throw-in which Belchior Valadares played forward. Taio Elias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Vilas Boas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Romeo Rienda in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuno Pais, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 23 minutes into the match, U.D. Mancini's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Vilas Boas came free, but Taio Elias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romeo Rienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Romeo Rienda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Romeo Rienda took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Nuno Pais to make any attempt to save it. Xerardo Pujol kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Palmiro Ramires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DPD FC and the U.D. Mancini players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Palmiro Ramires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Rienda. The supporters of DPD FC booed when U.D. Mancini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Pujol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Romeo Rienda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pais having to interfere. When Xerardo Pujol fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.D. Mancini's protests and gave Xerardo Pujol a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DPD FC booed when U.D. Mancini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Pujol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, U.D. Mancini's Romeo Rienda got a free kick in the 61st minute. Romeo Rienda might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeo Rienda ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 minutes, Romeo Rienda made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. DPD FC's Nuno Pais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th match minute, U.D. Mancini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frodo Quesada to maneuver through the defense. U.D. Mancini's Thomas Herrero was substituted for Xerardo Pujol. In the 71st minute, Frodo Quesada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Romeo Rienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the match, DPD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Rienda came free, but Nuno Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taio Elias made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Olavo Vilas Boas sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th match minute, U.D. Mancini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frodo Quesada to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Setúbal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-2 in the 82nd playminute. Nuno Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Rienda, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The throw-in from Palmiro Ramires in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U.D. Mancini's Vitin Bouzas. After 90 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Frodo Quesada. When Romeo Rienda came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the U.D. Mancini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Rienda couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, U.D. Mancini's Romeo Rienda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2.
