Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jairo Setúbal kicked off to start the match. Nuno Pais was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marco Taules. In the 7th minute, Girona FC's Reynaldo Gimenez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nuno Pais. Nuno Pais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leizarraga Campomanes during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leizarraga Campomanes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Mendez in the 34th minute of play forced DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match, Vicente Mendez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nuno Pais was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nuno Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Nuno Pais came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Girona FC's Reynaldo Gimenez. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Gimenez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.

The wind increased when Vicente Mendez made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Vicente Mendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Pais. DPD FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Mendez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Nuno Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 minutes of play, Girona FC's Vicente Mendez made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vicente Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th match minute, Girona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erlantz Cienfuegos to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Orlondo Tormes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Pais skillfully saved the ball. The Girona FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Girona FC's Belisario Llorente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nuno Pais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Mendez went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute Reynaldo Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leizarraga Campomanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pais having to interfere. Nuno Pais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Gimenez's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Girona FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DPD FC for a fine match.
