In the 22nd match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Estrela to maneuver through the defense. Simão Vilela who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Yuri Ventura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 42 played minutes Andarilhos got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Guimarães. When Sérgio Gameiro fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Andarilhos's protests and gave Sérgio Gameiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Sérgio Gameiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andarilhos's Yuri Ventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Macena in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Seabra to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Belém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Seabra in the 53rd minute of the match. Andarilhos's Jairo Soeiro was responsible for 0-2 with a brilliant performance in the 57th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Paulo Belém. If Jarbas Estrela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Estrela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Paulo Belém made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Seabra in the 64th minute of play forced SC Angrense's goalkeeper Paulo Belém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Paulo Belém made a huge save. The supporters of Andarilhos booed when SC Angrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Abrantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Belém was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jarbas Estrela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 84 minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, SC Angrense's Simão Vilela made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Ventura was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Angrense's Teodoro Durães got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Simão Vilela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Ventura.
