Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Alvarenga started the match with the kick off. Damião Sobral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Yuri Ventura made a huge save. In the 11th minute, João Valadão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Silvestre Guimarães shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrício Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. MEXACOMX's Patrício Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Guimarães in the 16th minute of play. Domingos Vilarinho kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Jairo Soeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrício Fernandes skillfully saved the ball. After 22 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Damião Sobral. In the 23rd minute of the match Anselmo Veríssimo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrício Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Valadão charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Valadão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrício Fernandes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Soeiro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. João Cunha hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Luís Mexa struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Yuri Ventura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MEXACOMX. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Gameiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes, Andarilhos's Jairo Soeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrício Fernandes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andarilhos reached it. Domingos Vilarinho hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrício Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patrício Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Soeiro in the 39th minute of play. Yuri Ventura came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by MEXACOMX's Luís Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Luís Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jairo Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Patrício Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andarilhos. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Seabra to make the kick off. Jarbas Estrela in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrício Fernandes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Andarilhos's Virgílio Vilela got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Luís Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the MEXACOMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. MEXACOMX's Patrício Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save MEXACOMX from getting a goal against them. MEXACOMX's Patrício Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Soeiro in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Estrela in the 63rd minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Patrício Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Plácido Pimentel had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Andarilhos made a substitution. Romão Espinosa replaced Plácido Pimentel. Patrício Fernandes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. MEXACOMX's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexandrino Junqueira in the 79th minute. With an all-out effort, Andarilhos's Patrício Fernandes threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Seabra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patrício Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jairo Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Gameiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Patrício Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Soeiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Seabra in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrício Fernandes saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andarilhos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
