The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The SC Angrense fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when SC Angrense's Simão Vilela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Laurentino Carvalhais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cassandros Elite Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 1-4 became the score in the 32nd minute when Simão Vilela elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cassandros Elite Team's Kevin Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Pereira in the 89th minute of play. When SC Angrense's Simão Vilela in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
