Agapito Blanco had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Selmo Alabern's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Agapito Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Anagnostopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario Flores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Pujol went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Dimitris Anagnostopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Agapito Blanco. FCSB CUENCA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 15 minutes of play, Parque Europa FC's Dimitris Anagnostopoulos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agapito Blanco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dimitris Anagnostopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agapito Blanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitris Anagnostopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Mingo Cordoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agapito Blanco having to interfere. Agapito Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Anagnostopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Mingo Cordoba sped through FCSB CUENCA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Agapito Blanco. Agapito Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Anagnostopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Anagnostopoulos in the 32nd minute of play. Agapito Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Anagnostopoulos in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Pujol was the one to do the kick off. When Gorka Turienzo fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCSB CUENCA's protests and gave Gorka Turienzo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FCSB CUENCA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gorka Turienzo hit a great ball. Carlos Pujol scored 2-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosario Flores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rosario Flores came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FCSB CUENCA's Toni Garrido. But to his dismay, Toni Garrido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCSB CUENCA's goalkeeper Agapito Blanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guilabertus De la Torre kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Pujol in the 71st minute of play forced Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Rosario Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Pujol in the 73rd minute of the match. After 73 minutes, Lalo Izaguirre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parque Europa FC and the FCSB CUENCA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FCSB CUENCA booed when Parque Europa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lalo Izaguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Galnares struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Agapito Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parque Europa FC. After 82 played minutes FCSB CUENCA got a freekick which was hit by Vehdi Özge. FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save FCSB CUENCA from getting a goal against them. Sabino Mayor kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Rosario Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugutz Jubera in the 87th minute of the match. Cordairo Torrente kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Carlos Pujol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dimitris Anagnostopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parque Europa FC's protests and gave Dimitris Anagnostopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Dimitris Anagnostopoulos hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Parque Europa FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
