Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cássio Osório kicked off to start the match. Pascoal Modesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josué Pacheco in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Baptista came free, but Adelino Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Pimenta hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Pascoal Modesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Figueiras in the 9th minute. Caetano Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Caetano Coutinho got a free kick in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egídio Baptista in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Osvaldo Veríssimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascoal Modesto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Evandro Figueiras. When Palmiro Manso came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Red Proud FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Palmiro Manso couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Caetano Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascoal Modesto. Red Proud FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pascoal Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Figueiras in the 34th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Red Proud FC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Baptista. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Osório in the 38th minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Pascoal Modesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palmiro Manso's late challenge caught a SC Braga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Palmiro Manso helped the player get up and apologised. Palmiro Manso hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Red Proud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmiro Manso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Gualter Pimenta got a free kick in the 44th minute. Leal Antas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egídio Baptista was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Valverde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes of play, SC Braga's Cássio Osório made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascoal Modesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alberto Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Cássio Osório notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Red Proud FC's Pascoal Modesto. Pascoal Modesto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evandro Figueiras in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascoal Modesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Red Proud FC's Jorge Faria suffered a sore foot after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Red Proud FC made a substitution. Aloísio Brito replaced Jorge Faria. Ricardo Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Pascoal Modesto came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Cássio Osório. But to his dismay, Cássio Osório quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Braga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Red Proud FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
