The corner ended in Vítor Cortez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Orxata I Fartons's Anaia Litago did a great save. 17 minutes into the match, Orxata I Fartons's goalkeeper Anaia Litago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Cortez. Delta FS's Tarcísio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bingen Palomares in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Delta FS defense, Bingen Palomares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarcísio Leite. The Delta FS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarcísio Leite should have stopped the shot. Tarcísio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Bargas in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Orxata I Fartons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Palanques to maneuver through the defense. Guter Pais kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Orxata I Fartons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Vítor Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Guter Pais made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bingen Palomares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcísio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guter Pais in the 73rd minute of play.
