Mergildo Sancho came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Hurşit Piruz. But to his dismay, Hurşit Piruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hurşit Piruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mergildo Sancho having to interfere. Mergildo Sancho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Moita went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mergildo Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Moita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Nunez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Ovidio Polo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mergildo Sancho. Mergildo Sancho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Hurşit Piruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mergildo Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hurşit Piruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hurşit Piruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Moita got free with Mergildo Sancho in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 played minutes Maurício Moita could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-8 into the left cross. Humberto Seixas struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Mergildo Sancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.. The audience was convinced that Maurício Moita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mergildo Sancho was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
