Miguel Regalado hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Luis Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Ortiz in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Ornelas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 13 minutes into the game, Humberto Seixas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Miguel Teresa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Teresa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Seixas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SIMvergüenzas's Miguel Teresa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Moita in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to SIMvergüenzas getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Heliodoro Irureta hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Miguel Regalado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Teresa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benedito Bomba was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.:s Carlos Ornelas showed great skill when he stopped Adolfo Bouzon:s penalty. Adolfo Bouzon took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Ornelas. Carlos Ornelas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gumersindo Verdeja hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ovidio Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Teresa having to interfere. Carlos Ornelas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Ortiz in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Polo in the 43rd minute of play forced SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Miguel Teresa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Miguel Regalado hit a great ball. The long shot by Sebastián Adán in the 45th minute really tested Carlos Ornelas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Polo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurício Moita to make the kick off. After 67 played minutes SIMvergüenzas got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Adán. 72 minutes into the game, Gumersindo Verdeja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SIMvergüenzas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. the free kick. Miguel Teresa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Humberto Seixas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Seixas in the 79th minute of play forced SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Miguel Teresa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Ortiz in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Ornelas saved QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boni Rojas in the 86th minute of play forced QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Ornelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Polo got free with Miguel Teresa in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SIMvergüenzas booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Regalado didn't get a good kick on the ball. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. played a much better game than SIMvergüenzas and deserved their victory. The SIMvergüenzas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
