Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Bomba in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mergildo Sancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ovidio Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Bomba had several of the TGN Academy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Mergildo Sancho as he didn't even see the shot coming. TGN Academy's Mergildo Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Bomba in the 32nd minute of play. Mergildo Sancho stood somewhat misplaced when Cláudio Bomba came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Polo got free with Mergildo Sancho in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cláudio Bomba had several of the TGN Academy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Mergildo Sancho as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cláudio Bomba hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Ramón Nunez lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 46 minutes into the game, one of TGN Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dagoberto Segura was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind TGN Academy's goalkeeper Mergildo Sancho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colas Serena hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ovidio Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mergildo Sancho having to interfere. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aristides Quadros hit a great ball. If Ovidio Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. were awarded a corner. Augusto Bomba went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, TGN Academy's Dagoberto Segura got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mergildo Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Polo in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Augusto Bomba made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. TGN Academy's Mergildo Sancho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Bomba in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mergildo Sancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mergildo Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Polo in the 88th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cláudio Bomba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mergildo Sancho was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Angelo Nunez charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Nunez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 92 minutes into the game, one of TGN Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Ovidio Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99thth minute of the game Cláudio Bomba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TGN Academy's Mergildo Sancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. had played much better football throughout.
