Mariano Buenafuente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Heitor Horta made a huge save. In the 19th minute Vladimiro Corte-Real shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Unai Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Poças stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Unai Simon got control of the ball when Filipe Poças tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of LVCVS AVGVSTI booed when Ponte do Carro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altino Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Câmara made a great header on Ponte do Carro's corner, it was just that LVCVS AVGVSTI's Unai Simon managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in LVCVS AVGVSTI's zone, Filipe Poças stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Unai Simon came out of the goal and Filipe Poças tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
