Porfirio Bomba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Porfirio Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Clementi in the 15th minute of play. Alcides Antas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Viseu United's Porfirio Bomba threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolo Clementi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alexandrino Curado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Aguas in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Antonio Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Viseu United's Bartolo Clementi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Porfirio Bomba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Porfirio Bomba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Shen Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viseu United's supporters rose to their feet, but Shen Feng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Porfirio Bomba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Clementi in the 53rd minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Porfirio Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandrino Curado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Aguas in the 55th minute. When Iurie Oargă fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Viseu United's Alcides Antas managed to work through Gremio Viana's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alcides Antas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ziemowit Gdowski scored 9-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Porfirio Bomba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viseu United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
