Quinito Cifuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Zárate, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Castulo Manrique. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Behe Garay made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Barrios in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinito Cifuentes saved Cuatrodeocho from getting behind. After 52 minutes, Bartolomé Riells mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuatrodeocho and the C.A. Husky players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A. Husky booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolomé Riells didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Guijarro struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Quinito Cifuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Husky. Husky's protests and gave Xantalen Riells a yellow card for diving instead.
