Pepito Riba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino De la Rosa hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Edgard Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Baltasar Pascua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picanya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Pascua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Jaraba kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Narcis Ipătescu's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ritchie Roig on his right side and into the goal. 11 minutes into the game it was 1-0. After 16 minutes, Armando Reina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Esportivo Saudade and the Picanya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Clube Esportivo Saudade getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Armando Reina hit a great ball. Edgard Reyes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ritchie Roig firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Reina in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepito Riba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pepito Riba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernat Laredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Ritchie Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinton Pedrosa in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Pascua in the 30th minute of play forced Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Ritchie Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Clube Esportivo Saudade got a freekick which was hit by Gudesteo Zabalo. Prudencio Galego lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 32nd match minute, Clube Esportivo Saudade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Galego to maneuver through the defense. If Narcis Ipătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arbidel Pais to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Arbidel Pais kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ritchie Roig. That made the score 3-1 in the 40 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gudesteo Zabalo in the 45th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Pepito Riba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Gudesteo Zabalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepito Riba was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgard Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ritchie Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arbidel Pais, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Qwinton Pedrosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Picanya FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. With his leg Pepito Riba managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Clube Esportivo Saudade's Gudesteo Zabalo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ritchie Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Reyes in the 77th minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Gudesteo Zabalo made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepito Riba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ritchie Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Pascua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Picanya FC's Qwinton Pedrosa in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
