Konstantin Pančur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johny Godefroid in the 3rd minute of the match. CJ Desailly kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Johny Godefroid fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Konstantin Pančur, passed just outside the right post. In the 11th minute, Koen Huijsmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wannes De Tapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Istok Šabotić in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Galvão in the 16th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Leandro Galvão hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johny Godefroid in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Pančur saved HIT Gorica from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatko Goričan in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wannes De Tapp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart De Keyser was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Duško Turnšek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wannes De Tapp was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johny Godefroid in the 59th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamie van Elderen charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 73 minutes of play, HIT Gorica's Brite McCready made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wannes De Tapp was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute Lennart De Keyser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart De Keyser in the 82nd minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wannes De Tapp made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Brite McCready sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute Brite McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wannes De Tapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Lennart De Keyser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HIT Gorica eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
