An unexpectedly hard shot by Feodor Cadotsch in the 7th minute of play forced Black Dragons's goalkeeper Arnaldo Berardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pawel Bouchard in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Berardi saved Black Dragons from getting behind. Feodor Cadotsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Berardi came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Fire Devils's Pawel Bouchard. But to his dismay, Pawel Bouchard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Denis Lambrozzi made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Berardi. Black Dragons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 20 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Denis Lambrozzi. Black Dragons's Rene Stocker got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martial Schwersenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Pawel Bouchard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fire Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Pawel Bouchard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Berardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Denis Lambrozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Berardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fire Devils's Pawel Bouchard in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Dragons's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Black Dragons getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Flemming Garzoli hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Denis Lambrozzi made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Berardi. Black Dragons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 38th minute of the match Martial Schwersenz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Berardi skillfully saved the ball. When Fire Devils's Pawel Bouchard in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Dragons's goalie prevented a goal. When Cillian Zellweger fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fire Devils's protests and gave Cillian Zellweger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Black Dragons. Erik Blau stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vladimir Schnyder. 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pawel Bouchard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Black Dragons booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pawel Bouchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimir Schnyder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Stocker went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's Denis Lambrozzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Berardi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 75 in the game by Pawel Bouchard from a close distance when the talented Arnaldo Berardi managed to make a qualified save. Black Dragons's players were relieved. In the 75th match minute, Black Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flemming Garzoli to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pawel Bouchard in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Berardi saved Black Dragons from getting behind. The Fire Devils fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Fire Devils's Pawel Bouchard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Salvator Kälin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pawel Bouchard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Berardi made a huge save. A collision led to Black Dragons getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Janos Seiler hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pawel Bouchard in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Berardi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Fire Devils left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Black Dragons.
