In the 3rd minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Kaiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylven Vereeken in the 4th minute of play forced TUSE's goalkeeper Tibor Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Vliegplein from getting a goal against them. After having played for 11 minutes, Konstantin Kondor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TUSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantin Kondor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Sylven Vereeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Kaiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Jansens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ödön Kertész in the 19th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, TUSE's Ödön Kertész made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Jansens was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Kaiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibor Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylven Vereeken in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, TUSE's goal looked a bit too open when Sylven Vereeken came free, but Tibor Kaiser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wesly Leenpoels struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tibor Kaiser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Vliegplein. In the 33rd minute, Miloš Kerkez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to TUSE getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Konstantin Kondor hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylven Vereeken in the 37th minute of play forced TUSE's goalkeeper Tibor Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, TUSE's Kázmér Kocsis got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute Sylven Vereeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Kaiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mark Jansens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ödön Kertész in the 52nd minute of the match. TUSE's Tibor Kaiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Laporte in the 53rd minute of play. TUSE's Tibor Kaiser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save TUSE from getting a goal against them. The supporters of TUSE booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Laporte didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, TUSE's Tibor Kaiser got control of the ball when Eddy Laporte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franck De Vriendt made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eddy Laporte however managed to control. After 75 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Wesly Leenpoels. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregoire Claeys during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TUSE booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregoire Claeys didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, TUSE could leave the field as winners, despite KFC Vliegplein having more of the ball for most of the match.
