After 4 minutes of play, FC Bruges's Richy Wiggers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Binjamin Provoost was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Matej Tásler came free, but Tony Van Der Weghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Binjamin Provoost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richy Wiggers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matej Tásler got free with Tony Van Der Weghen in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juraj Pavliš. 12 minutes into the game, FC Gladiators Milošová's Matej Tásler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Van Der Weghen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Juraj Šesták kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony Van Der Weghen. That made the score 2-1 in the 16 minute of play. In the 20th minute Juraj Pavliš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Van Der Weghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bohdan Faško could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tony Van Der Weghen made a huge save. Tony Van Der Weghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juraj Pavliš, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's goal looked a bit too open when Richy Wiggers came free, but Binjamin Provoost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juraj Pavliš. In the 44th minute, FC Gladiators Milošová's Juraj Šesták dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Henderickx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Juraj Pavliš had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. FC Bruges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juraj Pavliš was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Tony Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Tásler in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Juraj Šesták made a precise shot to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 64 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Binjamin Provoost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Henderickx. Tony Van Der Weghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juraj Pavliš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Matej Tásler notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen. Tony Van Der Weghen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Matej Tásler sped through FC Bruges's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. Tony Van Der Weghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matej Tásler, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juraj Pavliš in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Julius Balthazar took a quick shot and it went in 8-2 without a chance for Binjamin Provoost to make any attempt to save it. Matej Tásler took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Van Der Weghen. Tony Van Der Weghen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matej Tásler in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Van Der Weghen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Klement Popovič fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gladiators Milošová's protests and gave Klement Popovič a yellow card for diving instead.
