In the 3rd minute Alex Mendes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Möckli during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς made a substitution. Pierre Van Hoeijveldt replaced Alex Mendes. After 4 played minutes Mjöllnir got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Möckli. Patrik De Wortelaers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Brand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Marc Brand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Van Hoeijveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Ralf Scenna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Glenn Stuyck made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Theo Raaymakers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arthur-Maurits Meersman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Glenn Stuyck made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ralf Scenna sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Mjöllnir's Glenn Stuyck threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Didier Bonenfant, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marc Brand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Van Hoeijveldt in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Jon De Marrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Brand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Brand came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Pierre Van Hoeijveldt. But to his dismay, Pierre Van Hoeijveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute Patrik De Wortelaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Brand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik De Wortelaers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Theo Raaymakers suffered a sprained foot after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gregor Roos charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre Van Hoeijveldt in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc Brand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacquin Bühlmann kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Pierre Van Hoeijveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Brand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Glenn Stuyck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς from getting a goal against them. After the first half ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrik De Wortelaers to strike the kick off in the second half. Mjöllnir's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacquin Bühlmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glenn Stuyck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre Van Hoeijveldt got free with Marc Brand in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
