Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stanny Van Wontergem started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sporting Mambo's Gustave Andriesens got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanny Van Wontergem in the 3rd minute of play forced Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Waut Goons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sporting Mambo's Harold Engelborgh in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YR Mechelen's goalie prevented a goal. Waut Goons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanny Van Wontergem in the 6th minute of play. Sporting Mambo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Stanny Van Wontergem scored to the left of an out of position Waut Goons, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Sporting Mambo's Waut Goons got control of the ball when Alan Wirinckx tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute Stanny Van Wontergem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Goons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Mambo's Waut Goons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Mambo from getting a goal against them. Waut Goons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwen Shamp in the 15th minute. A collision led to Sporting Mambo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Etienne Ottevaere hit a great ball. Gwen Shamp came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waut Goons could save by the left post. In the 22nd minute Pino Van Mechelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Goons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pino Van Mechelen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waut Goons was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Stanny Van Wontergem came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the YR Mechelen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanny Van Wontergem couldn't finish the play. Waut Goons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwen Shamp went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 30th match minute, Sporting Mambo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Van Der Meren to maneuver through the defense. Stanny Van Wontergem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Waut Goons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Stanny Van Wontergem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waut Goons. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Wirinckx during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Alan Wirinckx. A collision led to Sporting Mambo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Michael Armentier hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Alan Wirinckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harold Engelborgh to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Pino Van Mechelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Gwen Shamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Goons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold Engelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Etienne Ottevaere charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Etienne Ottevaere the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sporting Mambo getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Etienne Ottevaere hit a great ball. Waut Goons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwen Shamp in the 63rd minute of play. Waut Goons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pino Van Mechelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sporting Mambo's Waut Goons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanny Van Wontergem in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Jan-Pieter Van Mechelen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waut Goons. Sporting Mambo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Pieter Van Mechelen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Waut Goons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwen Shamp in the 71st minute of the match. Waut Goons came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by YR Mechelen's Stanny Van Wontergem. But to his dismay, Stanny Van Wontergem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 75 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Leo Van Mechelen. Waut Goons came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by YR Mechelen's Joop Leemans. But to his dismay, Joop Leemans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. If Stanny Van Wontergem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waut Goons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanny Van Wontergem in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Stanny Van Wontergem made a precise shot to the right of Waut Goons. Sporting Mambo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Waut Goons came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by YR Mechelen's Stanny Van Wontergem. But to his dismay, Stanny Van Wontergem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. YR Mechelen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
