The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Svetozar Popchev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Svetozar Popchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leendert Zuurman having to interfere. Leendert Zuurman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetozar Popchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Svetozar Popchev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Jim Houwing fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De hijgende Hertjes's protests and gave Jim Houwing a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes De hijgende Hertjes got a freekick which was hit by Jim Houwing. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svetozar Popchev in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leendert Zuurman saved De hijgende Hertjes from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in De hijgende Hertjes's zone, Slavcho Mandzhukov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leendert Zuurman came out of the goal and Slavcho Mandzhukov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philip de Groot struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Danail Mladzhov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De hijgende Hertjes. Volodya Latev hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Nikifor Groshkov put in a rough tackle. In the 67th minute, one of THE CLUB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for THE CLUB. Danail Mladzhov had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Sebastian Dulka's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Svetozar Mavrodiev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leendert Zuurman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ganyo Semerdzhiev's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the game, THE CLUB's Volodya Latev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leendert Zuurman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Leendert Zuurman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetozar Mavrodiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leendert Zuurman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ganyo Semerdzhiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Venko Dushev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leendert Zuurman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
