The audience thought a goal was coming when Béla Koplárovics got free with Tomáš Zednikovič in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Tomáš Zednikovič successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 38th minute, Martin Timko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Pénzügyőr SE's Béla Koplárovics nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomáš Zednikovič made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ferenc Berta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tomáš Zednikovič made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Ferenc Berta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Zednikovič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomáš Zednikovič was a little too slow when Ferenc Berta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juraj Kobelník to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC DNV Bratiskava's Antón Čopka got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The referee ignored Pénzügyőr SE's protests and gave Vilmos Cziráki a yellow card for diving instead. Vilmos Cziráki hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, FC DNV Bratiskava's goal looked a bit too open when Béla Koplárovics came free, but Tomáš Zednikovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Béla Koplárovics in the 86th minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Tomáš Zednikovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferenc Berta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
