Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Mpenza to make the kick off. Michael Scofield charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Scofield the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yıldıray Pektay struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Emil Mpenza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Monico having to interfere. Pardubice Hurricanes's Ladislav Jurčák shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Manu Van Hecke but with some difficulty. Pardubice Hurricanes's Valdemar Mašín got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Beullens kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
