Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hans Stuifzand took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Laurens Dekkers came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurens Dekkers couldn't finish the play. Rinus van Rooijen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thys Van Bockorst in the 8th minute of play. Rinus van Rooijen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Van Der Meren in the 10th minute of the match. Hans Van Der Meren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rinus van Rooijen. Sas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Sas's goal looked a bit too open when Thys Van Bockorst came free, but Rinus van Rooijen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rinus van Rooijen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francois Van Poucke in the 16th minute of play. When Marcus Zeegelaar fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sas's protests and gave Marcus Zeegelaar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute of the match Gerard Delamenin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rinus van Rooijen skillfully saved the ball. Casper De Metser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurens Dekkers in the 20th minute. Rinus van Rooijen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Abeloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rinus van Rooijen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Abeloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to Sas getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Laurens Dekkers hit a great ball. Rinus van Rooijen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Van Der Meren in the 28th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Sas got a freekick which was hit by Mark Rooy. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francois Van Poucke in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rinus van Rooijen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Adam Abeloos made a precise shot to the right of Rinus van Rooijen. Sas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Abeloos was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Hans Stuifzand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper De Metser. Sporting Mambo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans Stuifzand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Stuifzand in the 54th minute of play forced Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Casper De Metser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper De Metser came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Sas's Marcus Zeegelaar. But to his dismay, Marcus Zeegelaar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Rinus van Rooijen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Van Der Meren in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Abeloos got free with Rinus van Rooijen in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute of the match Gerard Delamenin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rinus van Rooijen skillfully saved the ball. Rinus van Rooijen came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Mambo's Sebastien Jaspers. But to his dismay, Sebastien Jaspers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Sas's Rinus van Rooijen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sas from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Thys Van Bockorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinus van Rooijen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Sas got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Zeegelaar. Sporting Mambo's Casper De Metser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurens Dekkers in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Arnauld Vercouteren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Rinus van Rooijen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francois Van Poucke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rinus van Rooijen having to make a save. Rinus van Rooijen made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Adam Abeloos sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Sporting Mambo's goal looked a bit too open when Laurens Dekkers came free, but Casper De Metser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Sporting Mambo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sas throughout the match.
