Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) ASC South United's Hugo Bender started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferenc Kiprich in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Teesing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tonnie Cales made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hugo Bender. 14 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Kiprich came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taco Scholte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferenc Kiprich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cees Hermensen fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASC South United's protests and gave Cees Hermensen a yellow card for diving instead.
