When Niels-Jan Drok came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Springplank FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niels-Jan Drok couldn't finish the play. Roni Debecker hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Aslan Spor32 got a freekick which was hit by Mattheo Engelbert. In the 13th minute, Mattheo Engelbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes of play, Springplank FC's Jari Litmanen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Springplank FC booed when Aslan Spor32 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Kindts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Ferdi Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aslan Spor32's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Ferdi Reis made a precise shot to the right of Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz. Aslan Spor32's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Springplank FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ferdi Reis in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Springplank FC's Ferdi Reis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz. Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aslan Spor32's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40thth minute of the game Sunday Oliseh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aslan Spor32's Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freek Reitsema hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jari Litmanen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Jari Litmanen took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Reis to make the kick off. Ferdi Reis struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springplank FC. 60 minutes into the match, Sunday Oliseh notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Aslan Spor32's Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz. Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jari Litmanen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Springplank FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jari Litmanen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jim Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roni Debecker in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Aslan Spor32 got a corner. Springplank FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Van Achtens ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Freek Reitsema came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Springplank FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freek Reitsema couldn't finish the play. Quillian Ingelbert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jim Kamps when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 80 minutes of play, Springplank FC's Sunday Oliseh made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Aslan Spor32's goal looked a bit too open when Jari Litmanen came free, but Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Mattheo Engelbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, Ferdi Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wlodzimierz Kornasiewicz. Aslan Spor32's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdi Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Springplank FC's Jim Kamps proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Springplank FC from getting a goal against them. Springplank FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
