Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Koos Alberts kicked off to start the match. Renátó Pálinkás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Chiel Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiel Wilson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakab Szarka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geert Wilder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kálmán Szalay having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's Koos Alberts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kálmán Szalay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sándor Boros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chiel Wilson. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Renátó Pálinkás dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chiel Wilson, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sándor Boros in the 21st minute of play forced AVV Zeeburgia's goalkeeper Chiel Wilson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goalkeeper Chiel Wilson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renátó Pálinkás. 31 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goal looked a bit too open when Sándor Boros came free, but Chiel Wilson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AVV Zeeburgia's Chiel Wilson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save AVV Zeeburgia from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Sándor Boros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiel Wilson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sándor Boros was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AVV Zeeburgia's Stephan Stout got a free kick in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakab Szarka in the 53rd minute of play forced AVV Zeeburgia's goalkeeper Chiel Wilson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE booed when AVV Zeeburgia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennie van Assen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's goal looked a bit too open when Koos Alberts came free, but Kálmán Szalay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaas Adelaar's late challenge caught a Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klaas Adelaar helped the player get up and apologised. Klaas Adelaar kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, AVV Zeeburgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepijn Asselbergs to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goal looked a bit too open when Jakab Szarka came free, but Chiel Wilson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennie van Assen charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bennie van Assen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 68 minutes into the game, Koos Alberts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kálmán Szalay. Koos Alberts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 74thth minute of the game Jakab Szarka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AVV Zeeburgia's Chiel Wilson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Koos Alberts hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Chiel Wilson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sándor Boros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Jakab Szarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiel Wilson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kálmán Szalay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koos Alberts in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AVV Zeeburgia's Bennie van Assen got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of AVV Zeeburgia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE side.
