Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FC Zhelezna's Teodosi Diamandiev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dieter Eberle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marko Saparevski's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Niki Pironkov charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niki Pironkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niki Pironkov kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Iliya Prokopiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Eberle having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Marko Saparevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dieter Eberle came out of the goal and Marko Saparevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Wolf Hanselmann hit a great ball. Konrad Cakir hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Iliya Prokopiev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zhelezna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund the free kick. A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Iliya Prokopiev hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Konrad Cakir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dobromir Gospodinov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konrad Cakir made a kick off. The supporters of FC Zhelezna booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhammet Cakir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's goal looked a bit too open when Pius Zurflüh came free, but Dobromir Gospodinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Teodosi Diamandiev scored to the left of an out of position Dieter Eberle, making the score, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konrad Cakir during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Cakir. Niki Pironkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dieter Eberle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Pironkov came free, but Dieter Eberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teodosi Diamandiev 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Marko Saparevski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zhelezna's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Saparevski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dieter Eberle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes FC Zhelezna got a freekick which was hit by Stoycho Biradzhiev. 78 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Pironkov came free, but Dieter Eberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konrad Cakir scored 2-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dobromir Gospodinov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over FC Zhelezna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borussia Dortmund throughout the match.
