With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mátyás Lisztes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the game, Nereo Precioso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mátyás Lisztes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the game, Qiao Jian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lugano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szolnoki MÁV the free kick. The audience was convinced that Qiao Jian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mátyás Lisztes was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. FC Lugano's Yusuf Ziya Cerit suffered a concussion in the 47th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. András Herczegh charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrik Almási stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nereo Precioso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Mátyás Lisztes made a huge save. After 65th play minutes Qiao Jian shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Mátyás Lisztes and just under the crossbar into goal. FC Lugano's Wincenty Kochowski was substituted for Nereo Precioso. Mátyás Lisztes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Lugano's Qiao Jian shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-9 in the ordered_time% minute. The Szolnoki MÁV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Lugano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
