LeRoeulx's Pascal Van der Willeghem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Schuster in the 15th minute of play. Matej Tomka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pascal Van der Willeghem made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbie Lefevre to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Jozef Višňa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŠK Horelica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 58 minutes of play, ŠK Horelica's František Kazár made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascal Van der Willeghem was left in no man's land by his defense there! When František Kazár came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the ŠK Horelica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that František Kazár couldn't finish the play. Pascal Van der Willeghem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Štrbák's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. LeRoeulx's Pascal Van der Willeghem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Štrbák in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when LeRoeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel Carpenter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, LeRoeulx's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Štrbák came free, but Pascal Van der Willeghem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes ŠK Horelica got a freekick which was hit by František Kazár. LeRoeulx's Brent Van Gele shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jozef Adamica but with some difficulty. In the 80th minute Mário Štrbák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Van der Willeghem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Matej Tomka suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Tim Louis's late challenge caught a ŠK Horelica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Louis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Tim Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lionel Carpenter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Adamica having to interfere. There was no doubt that ŠK Horelica were the better team. ŠK Horelica's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
