International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Malone in the 2nd minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Flashdynamica's Donald Wagenaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thorsten Ternes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute Rik Heubach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Ternes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Martinez during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Flashdynamica's Oscar Martinez got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Hauff got free with Meindert Janus in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars Hauff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Meindert Janus made a huge save. Meindert Janus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Hauff's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Lars Hauff's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Meindert Janus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Meindert Janus made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Lars Hauff sent off a good shot on target. Thorsten Ternes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Wagenaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Dohr came free, but Meindert Janus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luca Divis fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored International Thunders's protests and gave Luca Divis a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Luca Divis. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donald Wagenaar was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Donald Wagenaar could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Thorsten Ternes however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Hauff in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meindert Janus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Dohr to maneuver through the defense. Luca Divis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Bucher came free, but Meindert Janus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meindert Janus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Hauff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Leon Bucher made a precise shot to the right of Meindert Janus. Flashdynamica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rik Heubach's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Thorsten Ternes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Bucher in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meindert Janus saved Flashdynamica from getting behind. Jelle Pepping charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jelle Pepping the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jelle Pepping kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Donald Wagenaar came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Flashdynamica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald Wagenaar couldn't finish the play. Flashdynamica's Meindert Janus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Schachner in the 96th minute of play. Flashdynamica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
