Yulian Yuliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualtiero Nacht, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Yulian Yuliev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugene Mullis in the 33rd minute. Eugene Mullis might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yulian Yuliev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugene Mullis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Sergey Filchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Philippe Vehma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zelg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Vehma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yulian Yuliev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sergey Filchev fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VN Keleler's protests and gave Sergey Filchev a yellow card for diving instead. Sergey Filchev hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualtiero Nacht was the one to do the kick off. Yulian Yuliev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelg FC. Yulian Yuliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem Migneault in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Philippe Vehma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yulian Yuliev. VN Keleler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philippe Vehma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind VN Keleler's goalkeeper Yulian Yuliev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zelg FC's Gilberto Theissl was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yulian Yuliev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Philippe Vehma hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe Vehma came free, but Yulian Yuliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Gualtiero Nacht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yulian Yuliev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Gualtiero Nacht cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. After some careless play in the VN Keleler defense, Philippe Vehma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yulian Yuliev. The VN Keleler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yulian Yuliev should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zelg FC had played much better football throughout.
