The supporters of North Hill United booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulus De Geest didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Van Elsen was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Brend Van Linthoudt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brend Van Linthoudt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Fox Hunting Squad's Mats Van Elsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Fox Hunting Squad from getting a goal against them. When Paulus De Geest fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fox Hunting Squad's protests and gave Paulus De Geest a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Niels Vandamme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Xander-Paul Kerselaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Georges Leclerq shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albertus Schepmans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mats Van Elsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omer Vandamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omer Vandamme got free with Mats Van Elsen in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthieu Ingelbert to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fox Hunting Squad's zone, Niels Vandamme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Van Elsen came out of the goal and Niels Vandamme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Fox Hunting Squad defense, Omer Vandamme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Van Elsen. The Fox Hunting Squad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Van Elsen should have stopped the shot. Fox Hunting Squad's Mats Van Elsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Fox Hunting Squad from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omer Vandamme in the 47th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Mats Van Elsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Steckens made a kick off. 52 minutes in the game Harry Strupar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Victor Steckens. Fox Hunting Squad's Mats Van Elsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Vandamme in the 59th minute of play. Victor Steckens hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Mats Van Elsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omer Vandamme's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 75 minutes of play, Fox Hunting Squad's Stanny Schols made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertus Schepmans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albertus Schepmans was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulus De Geest. Jan Schoolmeesters hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mats Van Elsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omer Vandamme in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omer Vandamme in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Van Elsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanny Schols to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Georges Leclerq was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fox Hunting Squad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Hill United the free kick. In the 89th match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georges Leclerq to maneuver through the defense.
