The supporters of DARAS booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sasho Temkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. DOROSTOL Ss's Yanko Karaivanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save DOROSTOL Ss from getting a goal against them. Toni Nenchev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yanko Karaivanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. DOROSTOL Ss's Yanko Karaivanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save DOROSTOL Ss from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Volodya Biradzhiev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DOROSTOL Ss's Yanko Karaivanov did a great save. Nedyalko Berberov hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Gonzo Ivanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanko Karaivanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Gonzo Ivanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanko Karaivanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 36 minutes into the game, Iliya Kasabov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DARAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DOROSTOL Ss the free kick. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Iliya Kasabov hit a great ball. Toni Nenchev hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Sasho Temkov was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, DOROSTOL Ss's Sasho Temkov got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 46th minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Yanko Karaivanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 53 minutes DOROSTOL Ss's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Volodya Biradzhiev who took care of the corner kick. The corner led DARAS's Volodya Biradzhiev to fire away a dangerous shot which Yanko Karaivanov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 55 minutes of play, DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yanko Karaivanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rdth minute of the game Gonzo Ivanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DOROSTOL Ss's Yanko Karaivanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. DARAS's Paolo Rossi was substituted for Toni Nenchev. A sloppy throw-in by Dragolyub Dudekov in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DARAS's Antim Karamanski. After a defensive mix-up in DOROSTOL Ss's zone, Paolo Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanko Karaivanov came out of the goal and Paolo Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Gonzo Ivanov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yanko Karaivanov. DOROSTOL Ss's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzo Ivanov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 79 minutes into the match, DOROSTOL Ss's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Rossi came free, but Yanko Karaivanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes DOROSTOL Ss got a freekick which was hit by Slaveyko Tzotzev. DARAS's Volodya Biradzhiev couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DOROSTOL Ss. 86 minutes in the game Dragolyub Dudekov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vanyo Kusev. DOROSTOL Ss's Yanko Karaivanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Rossi in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Paolo Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. DARAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanko Karaivanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yanko Karaivanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, DARAS could leave the field as winners, despite DOROSTOL Ss having more of the ball for most of the match.
