Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Galin Hadzhiyski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Martin Ødegaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diederick Van den Plas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Borginions kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Galin Hadzhiyski put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Diederick Van den Plas. In the 10th minute, Aleko Merdzhanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cup2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 14 minutes, Aleko Merdzhanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cup2 and the Royal Antwerp F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Aleko Merdzhanov got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Royal Antwerp F.C. defense, Galin Hadzhiyski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diederick Van den Plas. The Royal Antwerp F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diederick Van den Plas should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Galin Hadzhiyski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diederick Van den Plas. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Galin Hadzhiyski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Vanyo Girov scored 0-6 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diederick Van den Plas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diederick Van den Plas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galin Hadzhiyski in the 36th minute of play. Diederick Van den Plas came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Cup2's Martin Ødegaard. But to his dismay, Martin Ødegaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 41st minute, Galin Hadzhiyski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diederick Van den Plas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Aleko Merdzhanov took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diederick Van den Plas. Diederick Van den Plas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9.

Diederick Van den Plas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Ødegaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Martin Ødegaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diederick Van den Plas. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Ødegaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Diederick Van den Plas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iskren Nikolchov went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. In the 66th match minute, Royal Antwerp F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Nagels to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Vanyo Girov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diederick Van den Plas was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Galin Hadzhiyski took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diederick Van den Plas. Diederick Van den Plas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Diederick Van den Plas was a little too slow when Martin Ødegaard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-14. Martin Ødegaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Diederick Van den Plas made a huge save. Diederick Van den Plas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asen Shavarski in the 80th minute of play. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Diederick Van den Plas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Royal Antwerp F.C. from getting a goal against them. Cup2 were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Royal Antwerp F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Asen Shavarski took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goalie and right to Boyko Tuevski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Diederick Van den Plas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iskren Nikolchov in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Thys Konings was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cup2 the free kick. 96 minutes into the game, Galin Hadzhiyski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Diederick Van den Plas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cup2 played a much better game than Royal Antwerp F.C. and deserved their victory. The Royal Antwerp F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
