After 2 minutes of play, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Ralph Wilmink made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yvan Poets was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yvan Poets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Bekker in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Gerald Moermans got control of the ball when Theo Vandendriessche tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Stijn Klompe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yvan Poets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerald Moermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphaël Boede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerald Moermans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Siebe Luijten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Stijn Klompe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but All Stars Gent's Yvan Poets was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's goal looked a bit too open when Stijn Klompe came free, but Yvan Poets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yvan Poets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Kristoffers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerald Moermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Latomme in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Raphaël Boede came free, but Gerald Moermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All Stars Gent's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norbert Boegaert in the 36th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Gerald Moermans successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 41 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Gery Latomme. The supporters of The Dalwhinnie Boys booed when All Stars Gent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Dekeyser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yvan Poets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Gierman in the 44th minute of the match. If Theo Vandendriessche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stijn Klompe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Raphaël Boede came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the All Stars Gent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphaël Boede couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Raphaël Boede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Moermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Stijn Klompe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yvan Poets. That made the score 2-3 in the 56 minute of play. After a rather tough play, All Stars Gent's Theo Vandendriessche got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Jonathan Kristoffers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yvan Poets. Yvan Poets yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 62nd minute, Stijn Klompe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yvan Poets was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. All Stars Gent's Raphaël Boede got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Siebe Luijten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. All Stars Gent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Dalwhinnie Boys the free kick. Jonathan Kristoffers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yvan Poets firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 74th minute Otto Bekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yvan Poets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Raphaël Boede managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Stars Gent's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphaël Boede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerald Moermans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Boegaert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerald Moermans. The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yvan Poets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martien Krommert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, All Stars Gent's Yvan Poets got control of the ball when Klaus Bas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Kristoffers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yvan Poets. That made the score 2-7 in the 91 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Bas in the 95th minute of play forced All Stars Gent's goalkeeper Yvan Poets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
