Tomáš Čvančara got in the 19th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anton Lalchev handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Kevin Trapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Malov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Nikola Malov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MANCHESTER UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikola Malov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER UNITED's goalkeeper Anton Lalchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arne De Souza. Nikola Malov struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Kevin Trapp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MANCHESTER UNITED.
