After a rather tough play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Freddy Hirsch got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Pflaumenbaum got free with Valeriy Smalko in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loïc Payen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyrylo Zub in the 7th minute of the match. Mykyta Burdiyan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Kolos's Valeriy Smalko got control of the ball when Danny Edelmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loïc Payen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Symon Glushko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Symon Glushko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loïc Payen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 16 minutes, Abraham Pflaumenbaum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lëtzebuerg and the FC Kolos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abraham Pflaumenbaum kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Dmytro Bogdaniv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loïc Payen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. When Manuel Ferrara fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lëtzebuerg's protests and gave Manuel Ferrara a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Ferrara kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Valeriy Smalko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Pflaumenbaum, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 39th minute, FC Lëtzebuerg's Abraham Pflaumenbaum ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valeriy Smalko. Valeriy Smalko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The supporters of FC Kolos booed when FC Lëtzebuerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudin Suartama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ostap Fedoriv, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danny Edelmann was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Kolos's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Pflaumenbaum came free, but Valeriy Smalko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Lëtzebuerg were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FC Kolos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Barreiro took the corner. Dmytro Bogdanivs short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Loïc Payen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Pflaumenbaum in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valeriy Smalko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dmytro Bogdaniv struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Loïc Payen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kolos. After having played for 73 minutes, Danny Edelmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Edelmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexis Laputin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Valeriy Smalko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, FC Kolos's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Edelmann came free, but Valeriy Smalko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriy Smalko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Pflaumenbaum in the 82nd minute of the match. Ivan Datsenko charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
