Charlie Vereyt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vanyo Kochev in the 8th minute of the match. Ruben Smidtss short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Radomir Yonchev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Radomir Yonchev made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ruben Smidts sent off a good shot on target. Charlie Vereyt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdravko Deninski in the 15th minute of play. Staf Peeters charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Staf Peeters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruben Smidts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Radomir Yonchev made a huge save. Charlie Vereyt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdravko Deninski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Bill Daems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Stancho Beshkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Vereyt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomir Yonchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Smidts, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vanyo Kochev made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Ruben Smidts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Ruben Smidts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamenco United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Flamenco United's Bill Daems got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Charlie Vereyt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdravko Deninski in the 76th minute. Flamenco United had won after a very even match.
